Little rays of sunshine...

So my veggie patch met an untimely demise about a month ago due to some unexpected (for Tassie at least) hot weather and my forgetting to keep it hydrated......sigh. But the sunflowers that were planted out the front have come up trumps and the girls have loved watching them grow as we walked to school each day last year. Now they love looking at the flowers blooming and the bees buzzing as we begin a new school year. (first day photos to come when I can find what I did with the camera??) Here they are, our little rays of sunshine....

 

Way too much food colouring!

I decided to be a little bit creative for the treat for Family Home Evening tonight. After a run to the shops to find Oreos and then distracting the girls with something in their room so they wouldn't peek this is what I came up with.  Cookie monster was always my favourite....his eyes just crack me up!

My beautiful girl turned the big 5! She's getting ready to start kindy this week....too exciting!

Last day of swimming at our school pool. Our family hired it for an hour a week through the holidays. The girls went from screaming and clinging to splashing around and having a grand time!

Big day out at the Moscow Circus to celebrate with the birthday girl. It was AMAZINZG! I watched most of it with my hands over my eyes......some of those stunts they did...incredible!

My poor hand....yes I'm a sook! Physio thinks it might be RSI in my thumb...yipee! It's my right hand too, sigh. Too much cutting out fabric I think!
