(I'm catching up on a few happenings over the last few months)
So, we've been living in the foothills of Cradle Mountain for a few years now and haven't yet visited it so a few months back we thought we'd take a little drive.......the date was Monday the 27th of December and no, we do not live in the Northern Hemisphere so that date would be in the middle of Summer!
When we were driving up the mountain it was looking pretty unlikely that we would be able to see much as the foggy clouds and snow were covering pretty much everything but just as we parked the car to get out and have a look the clouds blew away and we had a fabulous view.
It was getting rather chilly at this point, you know the kind of chilly when your ears start to ache and you've lost feeling in your fingers and toes!
The girls found a great snowman built by a passerby and had a grand time playing with him.....he'd melted by the time we came back down the mountain though, random Tassie weather!
