Here's a hat I've just finished for my oldest Miss. Pattern is from here, I didn't do the butterfly but the basic shaping is the same. Flower is from here. (the photo doesn't show it too clearly as because of the flash but it was a really easy flower to do and looks cute I think!)
Yarn is Patons Washed Haze Aran which is a cotton blend. It was lovely to work with but be careful if you start something and then rip it back, the yarn tends to split after that and you have to be careful to hook through all the strands.....(I started again only about a hundred times trying to find a pattern I liked!)
Miss 8 loves it and won't take it off, just peeked in on her in bed and she's still wearing it!
Off to make another two......
