May 2015 - Mary's 8th birthday

We were lucky to have lots of lovely visitors this year for Mary's 8th birthday and baptism. Grandma, Uncle Glen and Auntie Crystal arrived first. Poor Grandma came down with a nasty cold and was out of action for most of the week. It was the first week of winter when they arrived and we were having -3 degrees in the morning and not getting past 10 degrees during the day so it was pretty harsh weather.
Frannie and Frampa were able to take some time off from the temple and they arrived next. Then at the end of the week Grandpa came for a few days.
It was so much fun to have everyone around and we did all the usual tourist things. It was Crystal's first visit to Tassie so we took her to the cheese farm, the raspberry farm and Anvers chocolate factory.
Mary also had a few friends over for a little play date after school on the week of her birthday. We had some afternoon tea and did some craft making little lanterns decorated like stained glass.
