When John and Kate came we took out to the Porters farm to see Bishop Porter and Kit. Kate grew up in Deloraine and the girls think it's so fun that she knows all the same people at church that they do. Hannah even had one of Kate's school friends as a Prep teacher.
At the farm we helped feed Curly the pig and the girls gave him a good back scratch with the broom. After that we took some apples over to Rusty their pet steer. All the way there Laura and Porter were keen to have a ride on Rusty but when they got up close and saw how big he was they weren't so excited! Our girls all jumped up for a ride though.
We also took a visit to the salmon and honey farm's and took a walk down to Alum cliffs. At the salmon farm we took a tour and the guide netted a big rainbow trout for the kids to pet. It was massive!
It was such a fun visit and we loved having them come.
