We went into Launceston to pick him up late one night the week before Christmas and because it was dark we were able to get him without the girls even noticing! We popped him in a little box on the floor at my feet and they had no idea. We kept him on the balcony for the few days before Christmas and would disappear every few hours to feed him and play with him.
They were so excited on Christmas morning that they didn't even notice him in the cage on the tiles, they thought it was empty! He was a rather sweet little thing but did have a liking for chewing things he shouldn't like the couch and carpet. He stayed with us for a few months and it became apparent that he needed to be in a place where he had more room to run around and some company so he went to live with another kind lady who was looking for a companion to a little rabbit she already had. It was sure fun to have him around though and we'll remember him fondly!
