How does my garden grow?

I'm afraid there hasn't been too much of "see Suzie sewing" lately as my sewing machine has been on the blink. It's a dear little machine which I normally love to bits but lately it's tension has been up the creek and so it's been in for a service 4 times!! It's finally back and behaving itself but I'm taking it really slow for fear of it happening again.
There has been talk of a new machine but I don't think I'm ready for that commitment (or price) just yet.

So in absence of sewing I've been pottering in my garden which is another of my loves. Unfortunately it's not loving me back this year as the paddock over the back fence has been planted with the exact grass that I'm highly allergic to so it's been a real challenge trying to work in the garden. I usually have to do it really quickly and then run inside and wash off all the dust and pollens from the grass. I've been known to be out there with a bandana tied over my nose and mouth which is a bit of a hoot!

Here are a few pics of what we have growing this year.....

Little baby roma tomatoes! Most years our tomatoes haven't ripened quick enough before the frosts start but  I've planted lots more early harvest ones and cherry or baby varieties to try and have the fruit sooner.
Zucchinis galore. I was sure I put in a couple of yellow squashes too but they seem to be zucchinis too....hmm.
Our raspberry vines are looking good, I'll have to get the bird netting up soon. These were a house warming gift from a friend a few years back and they've taken a few years to get going and were replanted in a few spots but they are settled now and hopefully we can have some summer berries.
My two new apple trees, a gala and a granny smith. They had a load of fruit on them but suddenly dropped most of it a few weeks back, must have been the extremes in weather we've been having, no sure? There are  still a handful of apples left on so I'll be protecting those!
Loads of potatoes. I'm sure I didn't plant all of those, perhaps I missed some from the harvest earlier on this year? This shot below shows my red onions at the front and some bean bushes slowly growing.
The offending paddock....this is why I can't be out in my garden as much as I'd like!
