Lots more crafting and creating in August this year, with the weather being so cold we are indoors a lot and so we are always looking for fun new things to play with. This year it was magnets! I had played with them in the Prep class this year and thought they looked like fun and luckily an online store was having a sale so we got a couple of sets. The girls have had a blast creating with them!
More drawing and art from Mary, her drawings are always so creative and she's happiest with paper, scissors and glue in her hands. We came in one night to tuck her in and found this sweet mobile above her bed.
Hannah and Becky are always being asked if they are twins and so this Sunday they decided to dress alike. Aren't they cute?! Mary is modelling her new dress I made from some cute cotton I got from Spotlight ages ago. It's a mix of the Tangerine top pattern from Ottobre which is a peasant style top and I've just added the layers ta the bottom. It's a pattern I use all the time for dresses and tops.
Flip ponytails are all the rage at the moment. The girls always asking to see the hairstyles I do from the back and so I often take a picture with my phone to show them. Doesn't Beck look so grown up?
We went along to a Family History day at Launceston at the end of the month. There were all different activities set up in the various rooms and we had a go at trying them all out.
Learning how to use Billion Graves with Brother Prebble

Discovering that there is a secret underground basement area at the Launceston chapel! They girls were brave enough to go down there, spiders and all!
