July 2014 - Hobart holiday

During the term break we took a quick trip down to Hobart. We haven't been for a few years and it was really lovely to get away. We stayed at a caravan park in Risdon in a little cabin and it was just the perfect size for us. Even though it was winter it was toasty and warm and the girls loved the little cabin style bunk beds.
We took a trip into the waterfront to the Salamanca markets as we'd never been before. It was alots of fun, so much to see. There was a great park nearby and everyone had a hoot playing on the equipment.
We also took a trip out to the Botanical Gardens. We loved rambling around all the pretty gardens and different exhibitions. (See my next post for all the artsy Mummy photos!)
Dinner that night was delicious sushi......we took forever to find a place to eat but it was worth all the driving around.
On the last day we took the girls to Aquatic centre for a swim and to wear them out for the big drive home. They did brilliantly on the drive there and back and all round it was a great winter get away.
