December 2014 - Night in Bethlehem

The Devonport stake put on a "Night in Bethlehem" activity this year and it was amazing. They transformed the whole of the Devonport chapel into Bethlehem streets. There were food stalls selling all sorts of yummy things like dried fruits, breads and grape juice. Other stalls were selling plants and candles and there were also activities like basket making and making clay lamps.
We were given tokens when we arrived and used those to buy the items. Half way through the night there was a choir presentation and a nativity play. Becky had been going to choir practice for the last few months and even though she was the youngest member of the choir by far she really enjoyed being a part of it.
It was a dress up event too so we had a couple of angels and a Mary this year. Hannah and Becky's friend Grace came along too.
